Looking to try your luck at black jack or slots, hop on the National Harbor Circulator Bus (free to guests at the Gaylord) for short 1.3 mile ride to the MGM National Harbor. Along with gaming, the MGM hosts a state of the art theater and multiple bars and restaurants.

Looking for the best view in town, don’t miss the Capital Wheel. Soaring 180 feet above the waterfront, you’ll get views of everything from the National Cathedral and Washington Monument to City of Alexandria and the parklands throughout the DC-Maryland-Virgina area.

Active Pursuits

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail is a well-loved train by pedestrians and bikers alike. This easy 3.5 mile trek takes you across the Potomac to Alexandria, VA, with observation points, benches, and historical markers along the way so you can enjoy the history and beauty of the landscape.

If you’re looking for even more of challenge, the trail connects to the 18 mile Mount Vernon Trail in Virginia, so you can walk, run, or peddle for hours.

Can’t bring your bike with you? No problem. Capital Bikeshare has a station close to the Gaylord at Fleet St and Waterfront St, so you can get your cycling fix.
