Alaura is the senior manager of content and community at Writer—the generative AI platform for enterprise companies. She leads content, social media, and community strategy across a variety of mediums, including the Writer’s Room blog and ActiveVoice: the Writer Slack community for content leaders.

Before her work at Writer, Alaura was content team lead at Animalz, where she led a team of 10+ content marketing managers to design and bring to life top-tier content marketing strategies for some of the fastest-growing companies in tech. Alaura’s work as a team lead has powered content marketing programs at Canva, GoDaddy, Notion, NCR, Webflow, Wistia, and more.

When she isn’t word-nerding, Alaura is the Chief Parenting Officer at House of Weaver, headquartered in Minnesota. Her primary responsibilities include interactive storytelling, consulting and advisory services on topics as far-ranging as Lego, Minecraft, Pokémon, dinosaurs, and snacks. When she’s off duty, Alaura enjoys binge-listening to podcasts about cults and performing karaoke (her “Natural Woman” brings the house down every time).
