Check out these 12 reasons to extend your stay and soak up all Boston has to offer.

  1. Enjoy the Seaport neighborhood vibe. ☀️ Nestled between Boston’s scenic waterfront and historic Fort Point District, you’ll feel the energy and excitement of a newish neighborhood in an old city. Shop in any of the many pop-ups. Take in one-of-a-kind installations by renowned artists. Explore your many options.
  2. Peep the fall foliage. 🍂 Enjoy the fall foliage from the water with a foliage cruise. Or hop on the Downeaster for a train ride. You can ride up the coast, leaf-peeping all the way to Portland, ME and back.
  3. Take in some local art. 🎨 Stroll on over to the Institute of Contemporary Art and check out the latest exhibit.
  4. Explore museums galore. 🏛️ If museums are your thing, Boston is your city. Museum of Fine Arts. Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Museum of Science. USS Constitution Museum. Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. JFK Presidential Library and Museum.
  5. Grab lunch at the Quincy Market. 🍦 Part of Faneuil Hall Marketplace, this Greek Revival building has 130 food stalls and more than a dozen restaurants offering an enormous variety of dishes.
  6. Eat your way through the North End. 🍝 Boston’s oldest neighborhood is considered Boston’s Little Italy. The food and street scene there will transport you! Don’t miss the cannoli at Bova’s, Mike’s Pastry, or Modern Pastry—all of which claim to have the bests in Boston.
  7. Wander around Boston’s historic neighborhoods 🚶‍♀️ such as Beacon Hill and the South End to take in the history of the area.
  8. Toast with locally brewed beer (or root beer). 🍻 Toast an excellent week at one of the many breweries within walking distance of the event hotel: Trillium, Cisco, Night Shift, Lord Hobo, and Harpoon are located within walking distance.
  9. Walk the Freedom Trail. 🚶‍♀️ A self-directed 2.5 miles that leads to 16 nationally significant sites, every step tells a story of the American Revolution (the trail passes through the North End, so you can grab that cannoli while you’re there).
  10. See the Granary Burying Grounds. 🚩Find the graves of three signers of the Declaration of Independence; Peter Faneuil, benefactor of the famed downtown Boston landmark; patriot and craftsman Paul Revere; James Otis, Revolutionary orator and lawyer; and five victims of the Boston Massacre.
  11. Picnic at the The Lawn on D. 🥪 The Lawn On D is a fun and relaxing seasonal outdoor venue in the heart of the Seaport District. It offers public seating and lounge areas, interactive art exhibitions, assorted games, and a food kiosk.
  12. Refresh at the Omni Spa. 🧖‍♀️ You’ve spent the week renewing your marketing. Now renew your body. (We suggest you book in advance.)
